The project supported permanent identification of procured cattle breed by ear tagging to enable identification and recording during farm operations. Moreover, pregnancy diagnosis was also conducted and the results were as follows; Eight (8) cows were pregnant, five (5) non-pregnant, two (2) were doubtfully. The farmers were advised to rebreed the non-pregnant cows, for the pregnant cattle were advised to feed and care them properly. Furthermore, dehorning (remove of grown horns) to minimize risks of harming other animals or attendants were implemented. These activities were done by expert from Livestock Training Agency- Mabuki.
