United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) cordially invite you to the Launch of the Poverty-Environment Action for Sustainable Development Goals Website

Eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions is the greatest global challenge facing the world today. The mainstreaming of poverty-environment (including climate) objectives into policy, budgeting, programming and investments by the UNDP–UNEP Poverty-Environment Action for Sustainable Development Goals demonstrates how improved environmental sustainability can address this challenge and contribute to poverty eradication.

The launch will take place as a GoTo Meeting Monday, on 29 June 2020, 1:00—1:45pm (EAT)

It will feature a presentation and panel discussion with Anne Juepner, Co-Manager, Poverty-Environment Action, UNDP, and Michael Stanley-Jones Programme Management Officer, UNEP.

The website was jointly developed by UNDP and UNEP in collaboration with Cookie Labs GMBH of Munich, Germany.
